Reporting to the Area VP, AA, Eastern Europe, Middle East, & Africa.
The position will be the principal connect between ISM and the countries in EEMEA by helping countries carry out portfolio prioritization in line with the AA International Marketing strategy. The incumbent will also ensure the percolation of Brand and Launch strategies from ISM to countries and will help countries get access to tools, training and resources needed to build Execution Excellence. Assessing, building and augmenting marketing capabilities in the different countries, with a focus on building market-leading Digital capabilities and strategies, will be an ongoing focus area for this position.
In addition, the position will directly lead strategic initiatives and key projects for the region. This includes leading cross functional teams to build Key Account Management capabilities / organizations, project management for new market entry and new product launch planning and tracking. The head of strategic marketing will work with the countries and EEMEA LT to ensure country priorities, resource allocation and activities are aligned with the regional and local GPH plans.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: WEIGHT
1) Leading strategic alignment between ISM and EEMEA countries
Liaising with ISM on an ongoing basis to present the strategic needs of each of the EEMEA countries to ensure adequate attention and support from ISM for:
Portfolio prioritization and inclusion of countries in clinical trials for products under development.
Launch readiness in countries in the form of Plans, Tools, requisite Training and relevant information needed for launch success.
Ensuring alignment between countries and ISM with regards to brand strategies; ensuring percolation of marketing plan from ISM to countries.
Working along with other functions such as MA, RA, Finance, BE, & AMI, to ensure deployment of Marketing Plans.
Oversee AMI plans and activities per country and ensure alignment with strategic plans. Assess and augment AMI capabilities in countries to ensure appropriate dissemination of medical education in the applicable Therapeutic Areas.
2) EEMEA Strategy and Regional Project Management
Develop a clear BOTOX strategy for EEMEA and priority markets within AA
Build the KAM and SAM models and capabilities within priority markets
Project Management for key priorities within EEMEA
Lead new product launch planning and implementation
Ensure country execution is aligned with the regional priorities
Lead EEMEA Regional Governance 40%
3) Capability Building
Assess and augment marketing capabilities in all the countries to ensure countries have A-class marketing talent.
Structure and conceptualize on-going marketing capability building programs for IMEA to ensure the Marketing team is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to support business growth.
Focus on building capabilities in the areas of Digital marketing as a key driver for market differentiation and business growth.

Education & Experience
Bachelor Degree in medical or pharmaceutical Sciences and/or Business Studies
An MBA or equivalent qualification in Marketing would be preferred.
Overall experience of around 15 years or more, including Pharma Marketing experience of around 8-10 years at a Country / BU level for a large business.
Project Management and a proven track of leading cross functional teams
Experience and in-depth understanding of one or more of Allergan Aesthetics Key TAs would be a plus.
Past experience of Sales or overall Business management desirable.
