Job Description Summary As a Sr. Director of Compensation & Benefits, you will design and execute global and regional initiatives for the GE Digital Organization on a broad range of Total Rewards practices and services. Your scope will be working across the international employee base working across 62 countries. You will collaborate closely with senior business & HR leadership to drive change, contributing to a market-competitive compensation framework with global impact. You will provide leadership and guidance in the areas of compensation, benefits, incentives (annual, sales, long-term), bonus harmonization and business integration in partnership with the Total Rewards Leader and the broader GE Digital TR team. In this role, you will help standardizing processes, establish operating rigor and building close strategic partnerships within the business and across GE. To be successful in the role, you need to be adaptable to change and bring an innovative problem-solving mindset to the team. As a member of the GE Digital Human Resources Team, you will be responsible for adopting lean practices within HR and embodying the leadership behaviors as leader for the Total Rewards team and greater HR function.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Sr. Director of Compensation and Benefits, you will:
•Provide design, delivery, and implementation expertise in compensation, including sales/non-sales variable compensation, bonus harmonization, while navigating corresponding country legal and compliance requirements, systems and tools
•Plan and deliver through the cyclical compensation processes, including annual and long-term incentives, equity incentives, and executive compensation providing analysis and thought leadership to the business
•Act as first point of compensation contact HR Managers and business leaders as it relates to market-based decision making (offers, benefits, etc) in the EMEA, APAC, and MENAT regions
•Participate in GE country/regional benefit teams to assist with country benefits design, implementation and communication
•Lead change management and mitigate risks associated with non-US legal entity changes, partnering with GE Global Benefits teams, managing end to end project management for benefits impact (identification, segmentation, communication, implementation).
•Drive innovative programs that improve processes and increase organizational competitiveness
•Partner closely with business leaders, global HRs, finance and legal leaders, acting as a subject matter expert for compensation matters
•Drive change on a global scale by gathering insights on competitive pay levels and practices contributing to the development of a market competitive compensation program
•Communicate with colleagues and business leaders about change of policy and implementation
•Act frequently as a project leader in projects involving the business and other functions
•Perform ad-hoc analyses and manage special projects as needed (e.g., leveling, organizational planning, comp strategy, retention, etc.)
•For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Human Resources & Compensation and Benefits. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master’s degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
•For roles in USA – Master’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
•Experience designing and managing base salary structures, sales incentive plans, short-term and long-term incentive programs (including various equity vehicles), competitive market analysis, forecasting trends, costs and modeling outcomes
•Understanding of and experience in administering global benefit programs, particularly for Europe and Middle East
•Experience partnering with colleagues across a matrix environment (global, regional, country / product, business, function), demonstrated experiencing implementing and delivering large scale projects across a complex matrix environment
•Strong compensation consultation and partnership skills; ability to build solid relationships and partner across functions
•Familiarity with compensation compliance rules globally and specific to EMEA, APAC, MENAT markets
•High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
•Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

•Established project management skills with demonstrated ability to lead programs and projects at a global and regional scale, including design, document, plan, market, communicate, implement and execute in-market
