PASTRY CHEF

In the position of Pastry Chef, you will be responsible to assist the Executive Chef in managing the Pastry & Bakery department as a successful independent profit center, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction, through planning, organizing, directing and controlling the culinary operation and administration.

Not only will you do amazing things within the hotel, you will make a name for yourself and your team outside of the hotel. Partnering and participating in local community events and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Ideally with an apprenticeship or professional diploma in Food Production with pastry specialisation.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience as Pastry Chef, or Assistant Pastry Chef in larger operation.
  • Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills with a flair for creativity are a must
