Front Office General Worker


A hotel in Tzaneen is hiring! They are looking for the ideal candidate that will provide an efficient and professional Front Office service.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all incoming telephone calls are dealt with in an efficient and courteous manner
  • Ensure that you are well acquainted with the company’s Front Office Procedures and adhere to these procedures at all times
  • Ensure that all enquiries and requests for quotations are dealt within the required time frame and according to company procedure
  • Ensure that you are at all times well acquainted with all of the hotel and spa tariffs and special offers, as well as with all facilities available to guests
  • Ensure that all guest profiles are entered correctly on the system and are routed to correctly
  • Pay special attention to special notes, preferences, etc.
  • Ensure that all arrivals and departures are dealt with as per standard operating procedure
  • Ensure that all key checks and pit checks are done as per procedure
  • Ensure that daily cash-ups are done as prescribed by company procedure
  • Must be willing and able to run night audit when so required
  • Must be able to work under pressure, while still being efficient and precise

Desired Experience & Qualification


2 years’ experience in a Front Office position within a hotel environment required

Knowledge of Protel an advantage
