As a Shop Assistant working for Tekkie Town, your main purpose of this position is to maximize the sales/turnover of the branch, control stock losses, the ability to interact and communicate with customers by offering our customers a smart choice destination for their branded footwear, apparel and accessories. • Grade 12 / Matric • 1-2 years retail experience would be an advantage • Computer literate
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• 1 -2 years retail experience would be an advantage • Fluent in English (Written and Verbal, any other additional language would be beneficial) • Excellent Communication skills. • A strong logical thinking and analytical ability. • Has a high energy level and is performance-driven? • Computer Literate and Numeracy skills. • Outstanding customer care skills, the ability to interact and communicate with customers. • Very good record of attendance and punctuality. • Ability to work independently, as well as be a team player
• The ability to ensure that brand standards are implemented & maintained in line with customer expectations. • Ensure store standards are maintained. • Ensure outstanding customer care skill, the ability to interact with customers. • Keeping updated with the latest trends in terms of stock coming in (unpacking process). • Ensuring the high standards of work on the sales floor, dedication in maintaining quality standards such as housekeeping and willingness to take initiative if the job needs to be done. • You must be able to communicate your knowledge of products to customers. • Willingness to consistently apply Tekkie Town values and Tekkie Town Policies and procedures in all aspects of your work.
