Administrator – Logistics

RS Recruitment Services is assisting a large company in the LOGISTICS INDUSTRY to source an ADMINISTRATOR to be based in KLOOF, Durban.

NOTE: This is a newly created position with good opportunity for growth with the company.

Applicants should have/be the following:

Matric certificate.

Degree/diploma in logistics an advantage.

At least 5 years experience in a similar position.

Administration/PA experience in the logistics industry an advantage.

Junior accounting experience an advantage.

Computer Literacy – must have solid MS Office (strong excel skills) and outlook knowledge.

Good telephonic skills

Must be able to communicate effectively in English-both written and verbal.

Must have good office admin, typing and filing skills.

Strong planning, organising and numeracy skills -an advantage.

Must be confident, conscientious and assertive.

Pay attention to detail and able to work accurately.

Able to start as soon as possible an advantage.

Key Performance Areas

Opening & closing files and general filing

Tracking fleet

Excel spreadsheets, Word processing

Dealing with telephonic queries

Customer liaison for deliveries and after sales service

Close communication with office in Papua, New Guinea, providing support.


R12 000 to R18 000 ctc. 3-month probation period applies.
